Things You'll Need

• 1/4 cup of beeswax
• 1/4 cup of Castor oil
• 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
• 2 tablespoons of beat juice
• Red lipstick shavings
• Pot

How to Make Bright Red Lip Gloss

1. Melt the beeswax on the stove. It is important to stir the beeswax continuously as it melts to prevent scorching. If you are using a block of beeswax rather than beads, make sure that you periodically turn the block over to heat all sides.

2. Remove the pot from the heat. This will prevent the other ingredients from boiling or evaporating while you blend them in.

3. Stir in the Castor oil. The mixture should become slick and creamy, but have an even color and consistency.

4. 

   Beat in the beet juice and one lipstick shaving. The electric mixer will help you distribute the color evenly. If the color is still not bright enough, add more lipstick shavings until you are satisfied.

5. Store the lip gloss in the small glass jars. You can carry these jars with you in your purse or keep them at home in your makeup drawer or bag.
