When was the last time you grabbed a cup of coffee from your break room and thought… this coffee tastes… thick?
Or how about…”I was drinking the same coffee when I started here… and that was a loooong time ago!”

Here are some tests you can do at your own office to see if it is time to try out a new office coffee service at your office:

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Ask yourself – What general maintenance my route representative doing for me every month?
    - Are they keeping your brewing equipment clean? If not, your probably tastes stale and gritty.
    - Are they exchanging your coffee carafes regularly and scrubbing them out when they don’t? This can also avoid build-up in your carafes that leads to sludge like coffee.
    - Are they rotating and replenishing your stock every month, without overstocking? If you haven’t checked your supply cabinet lately, you may be surprised at how much or how little they leave you each month- chances are, if they overstocked you, you may have expired product taking up cabinet space.

  2. Step 2

Are they asking you if you are happy with the coffee you are drinking?
It is important to try out new coffees and beverages – this helps avoid people leaving the office for variety. There are so many options for coffees, single serve beverages and teas, that your break room could satisfy every person’s taste within your office.

  3. Step 3

Is the route sales representative checking in with the proper contact person every month to ensure your utmost satisfaction in all these areas?
Proper communication between route sales and the correct contact is the key to satisfying your beverage and service needs year round. If they are simply asking you to sign the invoice, there may be a communication breakdown – and your team could be suffering for it.
