Instructions

  1. How to Un-Drown Your Dirt Bike

    • 1

Remove the seat, spark plug and air filter.

    • 2

Flip the bike upside down. Pump the kick starter manually for about 50 times.

    • 3

Return the bike to the correct position and pump the kick starter about 20 times.

    • 4

Install a new, dry spark plug and re-install the plug wire. Dry the air cleaner and re-install both the cleaner and seat.

    • 5

Start the bike. If your bike still does not work, repeat the steps.

    How to Fix a Flat

    • 6

Find the hole in your wheel. An easy way to do this is by putting some water on the tire. Check where the water bubbles and this is where your hole is.

    • 7

Rough the area up gently. If you do not have anything to do with this, use a rock. You will just need the tire to be a little roughed up so that the patch will stick to it.

    • 8

Dry and clean the area completely. The glue will not stick to a wet surface.

    • 9

Put glue over the entire area of the hole.

    • 10

Apply the patch by pressing down tightly.

    • 11

Check the edges of the patch to make sure it is down flat before you start the bike, otherwise air will continue to escape.

Tips & Warnings

  • Carry the patch and glue with you on your bike. Most bike problems occur while you are on the road, not at home.

  • Turn your bike off while attempting to fix it.
