Do you love Peanut Butter? How about mouth watering peanut butter cookies? This article will show you a very easy recipe on how to make these scrumptious cookies in just 10 minutes.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Any brand of creamy Peanut Butter.
  • Vegetable Shortning
  • Light Brown sugar
  • milk
  • Vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • Flour
  • salt
  • Baking Soda
  • oven
  • baking sheets
  • Teaspoon
  • aluminum foil
  • Large Bowl
  • Electric Mixer
  • Measuring cups
  1. Step 1

    Make sure you have everything before proceeding.

  2. Step 2

    Pre-heat the oven to 375 Degrees.

  3. Step 3

    Place sheets of aluminum foil on the counter or table to prepare for cooling cookies.

  4. Step 4

    Combine 3/4 of any brand of creamy Peanut Butter,
    1/2 cup of Crisco Shortening,
    1-1/4 cups of light brown sugar,
    3 Tablespoons of Milk, and
    1 Tablespoon of Vanilla into large bowl.

  5. Step 5

    With an electric mixer beat at medium speed until well blended.

  6. Step 6

    Add 1 egg (beat until well blended)

  7. Step 7

    Combine 1-3/4 cups of All-purpose flour,
    3/4 teaspoon salt, and
    3/4 teaspoon of baking soda to previous mixture at low speed. (mix well until thoroughly blended.)

  8. Step 8

    Drop generous teaspoonfuls onto unggreased baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.

  9. Step 9

    Slightly flatten with a fork and make a crisscross pattern on the tops.

  10. Step 10

    Bake for about 7-8 minutes or until they begin to brown.

  11. Step 11

    Let stand on baking sheet for about 2 minutes then place on foil to cool completely.

Tips & Warnings
  • This recipe is not for people who have allergies to peanuts due to the large amounts of peanut butter.
