My kids have continually gotten into the Sharpie markers and have colored with them. The markers bleed through the paper and go onto the table, desk, etc. After numerous attempts at trying to remove the marker, I have finally come up with an easy solution!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Hairspray
  • 2 Soft cleaning rags
  • Furniture cleaner
  1. Step 1

Gently spray the hairspray onto the marker.

  2. Step 2

With one soft cleaning rag, wipe the hairspray off of the surface. You may need to use a little elbow grease and/or respray and rewipe until marker is gone)

  3. Step 3

Follow up with your usual furniture cleaner and second soft rag.

Tips & Warnings
  • Check an inconspicious area of the surface before spraying hairspray on the entire area with marker.
