How to Avoid Social Kisses

Step 1

Try to be aware of social kisses or people who constantly give them out!
Usually it's an old lady type but not always.
They're easy to find and the signs will usually be noticeable.
The person giving the social kiss will usually attempt to grab both sides of your arms (HELP!!!! LOL). So use this as an advantage to see it coming.
Step 2

How to avoid a kiss (that you see coming)
There are a few steps for avoiding a social kiss that you see coming.
1.You can try to stay an arm distance away from that person. That way your not in easy reach of the kiss grab.
2.You can also put an object in between you and the person I.E. a camera or a purse.
3.Pretend to notice someone from far away and wave.
4.step on the persons foot (I know a bit rune but they will be stopped almost every time)
5.Hold out your hand to shake or if the person attempts it or pull them into a hug (still close contact but better than a kiss)
Step 3

Quick ways to avoid a kiss that someone tries to sneak up on you.
1.Cough quickly, and not one little *uh* Actually cough, make it last for 8-10 seconds if you can. This will hold them on from kissing you during the cough and will usually deter them from kissing you afterward.
2. Fall down. (yes I know it's embarissing, but it works) if you fall down usually it will take their mind off of kissing you.
3.Sneeze if you can (this works the same way a cough might)
4.Pretend you dropped something and bend over to pick it up, it will always buy you time and mostly stop kis.
5.If your at a party or have food available take a large bite into it (not garanteed to work but will deter someone not determined)

Then there is my favorite of all. If someone you meet fairly often does the social kisses, simply tell them your umcomfortable with it. They'll understand (it's just a kiss it's no big deal) and then your home free!
