Step1
The first thing you must do to get on fire for evangelism is realize that it is YOUR responsibility just as much as it the rest of the members in the Body of Christ. Jesus never said "some go into the world and preach the gospel". He directed this commission to all.
Once you realize that evangelism is something you are responsible for then the rest of the steps will fall in place.
Step2
The second step to getting on fire for evangelism is:
You must star viewing people as souls in need of salvation. Remember that the mail man, the pharmacist, the teacher and everyone else that you come across in your every day life is a soul. A soul that Christ died for, a soul that God loves.
Your mission in life is to reach these people with the message of salvation. These people are the people that God placed in your path to reach.
You must look beyond their faults, addictions and flesh and see the soul within. Once you are able to do this on a daily basis you have begun to spark the flame for evangelism.
Step3
The third step to getting on fire for evangelism is:
Be prepared!
Pray, Pray, Pray You must always be praying about your evangelism efforts. remember it is not you doing the saving it is God working through you. Only God can heal broken lives, heal the brokenhearted and prepare a heart for salvation. You are merely to plat the seed. You should have someone praying for you as well. This will help cover you spiritually.
read your Bible daily. This will not only help you in your spiritual growth but it will prepare you to give answers to the questions people will ask you (and they will ask)
Always carry tracts and a new testament with you. If you do not feel that you are good at talking to people you can give them a tract, leave tracts in restrooms etc...
Step4
You must care about people. The old saying is " People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care". You must express a genuine love for all people. This should be evident in your every day life.

Step5
More suggestions for evangelism are:
1. Put a tract in the envelope when you mail out your bill payment
2. Give a tract to the cashier when you pay a toll
3. Leave a tract with your tip in a restaurant
4. Leave tracts in restrooms
5. Place tracts inside your Christmas cards before you mail them
6. Place tracts inside the pockets of clothes before you give them to the Goodwill.
Make this a daily habit and you are ON FIRE FOR EVANGELISM!
