Things You'll Need

  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tbsp. celery salt
  • 1 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1 ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. ground savory
  • ½ tsp. dried marjoram
  • ½ tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. turmeric
  • Resealable plastic bag or container

Instructions

      Measure out all of the spices and combine them in a resealable baggie (or a small plastic container with a lid).

      Shake the container to mix the spices thoroughly.

      Use 1 tablespoon of the spice mixture for every cup of water when you're making vegetable broth or other soups that use a spice mixture as a base.

Tips & Warnings

  • Freeze any extra mixture for later use.

  • Cut down on the salt or eliminate it entirely if you want a low-sodium version.
