  • Sugar
  • Butter
  • Semi-sweet bakers chocolate
  • Marshmallow creme
  • Evaporated milk
  • vanilla
  • nuts (optional)

      PAN PREP

      Line a 9 inch pan with foil or purchase 9 x 9 square foil pans from your local grocery store.

      INGREDIENTS

      3cups sugar
      1 1/2 stick of butter or margarine
      2/3 cup of evaporated milk
      1 1/2 pkgs of Baker's semi-sweeet chocolate chips ( or 12 squares chopped)
      1 jar marshmallow creme
      1 cup nuts (optional)
      1tsp vanilla

      RECIPE

      Place sugar, butter, and evaporated milk in a large sauce pan.
      Bring to a full rolling boiling on medium heat while stirring constantly.
      Boil for 4 minutes or until candy thermometer reaches 234F.
      Stir constantly to prevent burning. Remove from heat.
      Add chocolate and marshmallow creme.
      Stir until completely melted.
      Add vanilla and nuts. Mix well.
      Pour into pans immediately.
      Let stand to cool for 4 hours.

      SERVINGS

      Cut into 1 inch squares.
      This recipe makes 3 pounds of fudge or about 80 inch by inch squares.
      Store in a sealed container at room temperature or about 65 - 70F.
