Things You'll Need:
- 1 bag of corn tortillas
- your choice of cheese
- 4-5 cans of el pato sauce
- oil
- 1 pot
- 1 pan
- forks
- plates
- towels!
-
Step 1
this is the sauce you're looking to use....First you'll want to get prepared. Place the pot and the pan on the stove, place the shredded cheese in a bowl, place the tortillas next to the pan, and place a clean plate by the pot. Pour a considerable amount of oil to the pan and turn the heat on medium, place all the sauce into the pot and turn that on to medium heat as well.
-
Step 2
Once everything is heated up, you're ready to go. Keep your eye on the sauce if it gets too hot you might want to lower the heat. Place one tortilla into the hot oil, leave it for a few seconds and then with two forks turn it over so that the other side gets an equal amount of time in the oil. The point of putting the tortilla in the oil is so that you can roll it up, so you'll want to keep it in there long enough so it won't fall apart but not so long that its too crunchy to roll.
-
Step 3
After the tortilla is ready dip it in the pot with the two forks and once it is submerged in the sauce pull it out and place it on the plate. Once you have it on the plate, put cheese in the middle, roll it up and you've got one enchilada!!! Depending on how many people or how many enchiladas you need repeat the steps as needed!
