How to Keep a Wedding Bouquet
Your wedding bouquet can be kept, and its beauty preserved for years with a few helpful hints. Turn your fabulous (and often expensive) floral keepsake into part of any room's decor.
Things You'll Need
- A vase with a round neck opening
- A round bouquet or ball bouquet
- scissors

1
From the moment the wedding reception is over, DO NOT lay your bouquet down on any flat surface. Designate someone to take it home and put it in some sort of vase (WITHOUT water) until you arrive home from your honeymoon.
-
2
Find a vase that complements your decor (or your bouquet colors). Make sure it has a round opening at the top and is not too much taller than your bouquet.

-
3
Transfer your bouquet to this vase as soon as possible. It should keep its form and last for years to come. It will dry nicely and evenly. There is no need to hang it upside down or flatten anything.

4
A blow-dryer set on low with no heat can help clean off dust that may settle.

Excellent idea, I opted for silk flowers in my bouquet so 12 years later it still looks perfect! -
