learn how to barbecue salmon on the grill.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • salmon steaks or fillets
  • canola oil
  • lemon pepper
  • gas grill or charcoal grill
  1. Step 1

    get the grill ready. brush your salmon lightly with canola oil. then sprinkle lemon pepper on them lightly or to your own personal taste.

  2. Step 2

    put them on your grill and grill until fully cooked inside and out, turning your salmon over frequently.

  3. Step 3

    serve hot with a lettuce salad or pasta salad of your choice. also a baked potato is good with salmon.

Tips & Warnings
  • lemon pepper can be replaced with regular salt and pepper of you like.
  • also when finished squeeze fresh lemon on you filets as well, it makes them really taste great!(if you like lemon of course)
  • Enjoy!
  • be sure to cook your salmon fully inside and outside!

on 5/9/2009 Salmon is wonderful cooked on a plank. I like using grilling planks with herb pots for salmon and poultry. They are easy to use and add a bunch of extra flavors to an already great meal. Planks with herb pots are available at http://www.grillingplanks.biz at a very reasonable price.

on 6/18/2008 YUMMY!! Sounds so GOOD! Also, try Extra Virgin Olive Oil - so good and so good for you. I also layer some sliced onions on top. The flavor soaks in. 5 Stars !
