  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 cups fresh sliced peaches
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

    • 1

      Stir together the egg, ½ cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ cup milk and ½ cup melted butter in a mixing bowl. Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch baking dish.

      Sprinkle the fresh peaches with lemon juice. Arrange the peaches on top of the batter.

      Mix ½ cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon and sprinkle it on top of the cobbler.

      Bake at 350 F for 50 to 60 minutes.
