Our bodies are primarily made up of water and in order to maintain a healthy state we need to remain well hydrated. Sadly, not any old beverage is going to be what your body needs. Soda's and coffee, teas and other sugary drinks may taste delicious, but aren't going to be getting the job done. A glass of water may seem boring in the mix of so many tasty alternatives, but read on for simple ways to make water a much more appealing choice.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Zip Fizz/Crystal Lite
  • Water Bottle
  1. Step 1

The first step in increasing your water intake is to set a goal for how much you want to be drinking every day, and then go buy a water bottle that corresponds. Want to drink two liters? A gallon? Then buy that sized bottle, fill it up every morning, and make it your goal to drink it entirely. Take it with you wherever you go. In the car, to work, to the gym, and sip away all day long.

  2. Step 2

Water too bland for you? There are several products that can add a little flavor and make it easier for you to down. Zip fizz and Crystal Lite are just two low calorie flavorings you can use to add a little life to your water. Flavor to taste.

  3. Step 3

Avoid diuretics. I know that the thought of skipping your morning coffee sounds intimidating, but try cutting down on your coffee intake as it just counteracts your efforts. Avoid carbonated beverages, sodas high in sugar, etc.
