How to Find an Inexpensive Wedding Location

Your wedding location can be great and it can be the right price!

Having a beautiful wedding is important to a lot of couples. If you are paying for the wedding yourself then getting a location for what you can afford can be a very hard task. Shopping and asking around could save you a ton of money.

1. Ask your family and friends for help. You might know of someone that has a nice house with a beautiful back yard. They might let you have your wedding there for free or for very little maybe you can work out a deal with them. Most family and friends are eager to help a loved one, especially on this special day.

2. Call some of your favorite parks. Parks usually have certain areas that can be rented for several hours at a time. These areas are inexpensive and you can decorate them to look beautiful. Try to pick ones that have patio covers and maybe even some benches for your guests to sit and relax during the ceremony.

3. Look online and in the phone book for different halls. These are usually more expensive than parks but some of them come with chairs and tables that will save you more money. If it is really hot outside a lot of these halls are air conditioned. You can also use these for the reception where food can be served and dancing is an option.

4. Check out the different hotels in the area. Some hotels have sales when business is a little slow. Most offer convention rooms which would be a great location. Restaurants might be available and this can take care of your food.

5. Shop and look around as early as possible even if you can start planning months in advance. Book right away if a great deal comes along. Most places start to raise prices on short notice so the earlier you book the better chance you have of finding an inexpensive wedding location.
