Have the older children create an attendance form. It's a free and imaginative way to keep the children entertained. On a large poster board, allow the children to create an attendance form where they learn to recognize their own names. When they come to the daycare, they place a sticker next to their name in the in column and another one in the out column whey they’re picked up. It’s free and the children learn a little about responsibility.

Joining an organization that caters to daycare providers such as the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is a surefire way to learn the latest daycare information available. Talk to other daycare providers to find out where to get free day care attendance forms.

Access online community forums. Visit day care community forums such as Daycare.com. Similar to joining an off line organization, online forums are a great source of information. You should be able to find out how other daycare providers have downloaded or created their free daycare attendance forms.
