How to Hide Acne with Makeup

No matter your age, acne is embarrassing. And while there are many terrific treatments to get rid of your acne, you still have to wait for it to go away. In the meantime try these steps to hide it.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Foundation that matches your Skin Tone
• Yellow-Based Stick Concealer
• Makeup Sponges
• Loose Powder
• Large Powder Brush
• Mirror

1. Apply foundation using makeup sponge or your fingertips. Cover your face evenly with the foundation, being careful to not apply it too heavily.

2. Dab the stick concealer lightly onto your acne-affected areas.

3. Blend the concealer just to the edges of your acne using your ring finger. By using this finger you will not use too much pressure.

4. Puff on the loose powder using the large powder brush to set your makeup.

Tips & Warnings

• While you can use a medicated concealer to help clear up acne, do so with care as it can cause dry skin and flakiness.
