1
Purchase a three ring folder. These are the types that are very thin. They have pockets inside on both sides. They are the folders that you usually put inside large three ring binders. Be careful when buying them because some that are sold do not have the three rings in them. Before you put them in your cart, check inside to make sure they have the three rings.

Place the loose leaf paper inside the three ring folder. Bend back the metal prongs that are connected to the three rings.

Write the child’s name on the front of the folder along with the words “sticker book." This is important because the child will feel a sense of pride that this is his. He also will be able to distinguish it from others that may be in the house.

Place stickers inside one of the folders. Show the child that this is where he should put his stickers when he is not using them. Show the child also that in this book is where you can place stickers and only here. The child can be as creative as he wants with his sticker book. Let him know that he can also draw or write in it giving him other uses for his sticker book.
