Stomach ulcers can be one of the most painful feelings you will ever experience in your lifetime if you haven't yet. Here are the signs and symptoms of having a stomach ulcer.

  1. Step 1

    Burning sensation immediately after you are done eating anything regardless of what it is or how much you have eaten. The burning sensation is located directly in the center of stomach and can take 30 minutes to an hour to subside. Sometimes longer depending on how severe the stomach ulcer is.

  2. Step 2

    Vomiting up blood and stomach acid is another sure sign of a stomach ulcer that has gotten to the point where a doctor is needed to be seem immediately.

  3. Step 3

    Burping, heartburn and indigestion also happens when a stomach ulcer is apparent. These signs can be the onset of the ulcer, visit your doctor immediately if you are continuously having these three symptoms.

  4. Step 4

    If you notice blood in your stool that is streaked, more than likely this is caused by the stomach ulcer. See a doctor as soon as possible.

  5. Step 5

    Not eating and very rapid weight loss is also one of the signs of having a stomach ulcer. Most of the time the person who has the ulcer has no appetite, or does not want to deal with all the signs after eating.
