Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Sleeping too much or not sleeping at all is something you need to look for when seeking out the symptoms of major depression. Many people tend to stay in bed all day not wanting to nothing at all.

  2. Step 2

Not eating as often or not eating anything at all is another sign that can be linked to major depression. Pay attention to their plates when they eat. They may sit there and just move their food around, making it look as though they have eaten but you know that they haven't. This is definitely a red flag and needs to be monitored.

  3. Step 3

Constant conversation of death or suicide when engaging in a conversation with you or others around them. This is definitely one of the common symptoms of major depression and must be addressed immediately.

  4. Step 4

Not being able to think clearly about anything in their life. Constantly questioning everything in reason and not knowing the answers that they clearly knew before.

  5. Step 5

Staying home and not doing anything with family or friends even when there is a special occasion where they were sure to attend at any other time.
