Christians live a lifestyle that may be considered somewhat different than the mainstream. While it is not necessary to stop associating with people who don’t share the same religious beliefs, it often helps to build relationships with others who share the same values and standards. Whether your interest is dating or just finding new friends, there are simple ways to go about meeting new people.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Become a member of a church, if you’re not one already. This is the perfect place to meet other Christians. Attending Sunday School classes can also be beneficial. This is usually a smaller, more intimate group, in which it is a lot easier to talk one-on-one with other people.

  2. Step 2

Join a choir, usher board or other ministry group within your church. This will give you an opportunity to meet new people, and allows you to perform an act of service at the same time.

  3. Step 3

Join an online social-networking group targeted toward Christians. You can chat with like-minded people, read and share blogs and build friendships, as you would on any other social networking site.

  4. Step 4

Go on group outings with other Christian friends and have them introduce you to friends of theirs. It’s easier to meet people in a more casual, relaxed environment, especially if you have mutual friends. You will likely find that you have a lot in common aside from your faith.
