Things You'll Need:
- knowledge of the groomsmen's interests
- knowledge of the schedule of the groomsmen and groom
- creativity
-
Step 1
Choose a gift that all the groomsmen can share with the groom. Just because the groom is married doesn't mean he can't have a night out with his groomsmen after he returns from the honeymoond. Buy them all tickets to a sporting event, restaurant, or activity such as a poker tournament.
-
Step 2
Purchase them something they can use. Too often groomsmen receive wedding gifts such as a pocket watch, or cuff links, which they will never use. Buy them something practical. One of the best gifts could be s a grilling set.
-
Step 3
Find out the interests of the groomsmen. You don't have to buy a generic gift just because it is what is suggested for groomsmen. Find one that fits the personalities and interest of the groomsmen in your wedding.
-
Step 4
Don't feel obligated to purchase the same gift for each groomsmen. Traditionally groomsmen all receive the same wedding gift. That's great, but there is no rule that they have to. If you have a diverse group of groomsmen, purchase them each something that represents an activity they enjoy doing with the groom.

Step 5
Purchasing gift cards is perfectly acceptable. If you are having a wedding where the groomsmen must travel from out of town to attend a wedding, gift cards are a great gift. Chances are they either have a large gas expense, or have to pay for an airplane ticket if they are coming in from out of town. A small gift card can be a great gift to help them enjoy themselves while in town.
