1
Use attractive baskets for storage. Find the hanging plant baskets at a local lawn and garden shop. Weave ribbons through the mesh, if they are the wire baskets, or simply choose a color that matches your bathroom. The baskets can hold hand towels and washcloths, grooming supplies and makeup. Color-coordinate the baskets and towels for a decorative touch.

2
Add a set of cabinets or decorative shelving above the toilet. If you can find a combination of shelves and cabinets, you can even have a place to put some knick-knacks and other decorative items on the top. Try to find a cabinet with a towel bar underneath.

3
Find a narrow stand to place next to the toilet. The top can be used for magazines or you can display items to decorate the bathroom. The other shelves can be used for toilet paper and other supplies.

4
Buy a shelf that fits over the sink. You normally see these in kitchens, but they can also be used in the bathroom. Try to match the shelf with your current décor. This will provide more space for items, and they will not be cluttering your sink area.

Use wall hooks on the back of the bathroom door to hang clothes or towels. Wall hooks come in a variety of different styles. If you have an empty spot on one of the walls, carry the look of the wall hooks from the back of the door, around the corner to the wall. Baskets or hand towels can be hung from the wall hooks on your walls.
