Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dry pastels
  • Pastel pencils
  • Pencil
  • Hairspray
  1. Step 1

Draw a sketch of your drawing with a pencil.

  2. Step 2

Pastel the drawing leaving out fine details such as eyes, features, houses or things that are smaller to manipulate. Have your eraser ready for mistakes.

  3. Step 3

Once you have finished, hairspray the parts of your drawing that you do not want changed before you start using the pastel pencils.

  4. Step 4

With the pastel pencils carefully give the details of the drawing. Pastels can be blendable so don't worry about hard defining lines; these can be blended in later.

  5. Step 5

Erase any extra details or mistakes carefully. Spray your completed drawing with hairspray and enjoy your masterpiece!

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not lean on your drawing as you will smudge it
  • Try to not erase things too much as it ruins the paper's consistency.
