Things You'll Need:
- A vehicle that uses R-134a Refrigerant (Freon)
- 1 can of R-134a Refrigerant
- AC gauge

Step 1
Low-pressure port of A/C system with black capFind low-pressure port of the air conditioning system. The system is usually capped with a blue or black dust cap and is located on the larger diameter tubing between the evaporator and the compressor. Remove the cap.

Step 2
Air conditioning set at highest levelStart the engine in the vehicle and turn the air conditioning on to its highest setting.

Step 3
Attach the end of the line from the can to the portTake the end of the line from the can and attach it to your low-side port by pulling back the coupler sleeve and pushing the end onto the port. Let go of the sleeve to lock it onto the port.

Step 4
Shake the can well press the button firmly all the way down. Shake the can constantly, releasing the button frequently to check the pressure.
