1
Check out the prices at your grocery store and in the sales papers. If you happen upon ground beef for 99 cents a pound and are able to, stock up and freeze it in one pound packages. A sale like that does happen once in a while, but it is rare. If you shop around, you can often find ground turkey or sometimes even pork for that price.

Mix the ground beef with the ground turkey. Then add some Worcestershire sauce to make it taste more "beefy". You can also mix the beef with ground pork if you can get it at a good price. The pork will make the meat taste more Italian which would be perfect for meatballs, or meat pasta sauce.

Add one egg to the meat mixture and your filler of breadcrumbs or rice. You can add another egg if the mixture is too dry, or more filler if too moist.

4
Use this mixture to make stuffed peppers, hamburgers, sloppy joe's, or meatloaf. Cook accordingly.

You can also just use the pound of ground beef and cube several large potatoes to make a whole pot of hamburger stew and just add seasonings to taste.
