  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 quart milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

      Preheat oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit.

      In a large bowl, combine all ingredients.

      Pour into a baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.

      Bake until milk is absorbed. Stir after about 30 minutes and continue baking, checking closely. Serve with additional milk if desired.
