Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Tea bags
  • Aloe Vera
  • Vinegar

Step1
Take a cool shower to get rid of salt water or other aggravating contaminants. Hot water will only aggravate the sunburn.

You can cool a sunburn with distilled vinegar.
Step3
Aloe Vera is great, and best if it is directly from the plant. Cut a leaf lengthwise and rub on sunburn, or squeeze out juices. If you do not have a plant, pure aloe vera gel is good also.

Some lotions made for the skin will work wonders. Body butters are thick and soothing.
Step5
Tea works well. Soak a washcloth or paper towels in freshly made tea, and apply to the area of concern.
Step6
Try an oatmeal bath. Aveeno sells a good one.Gerber for babies also has oatmeal bath and lotions.
