There is nothing better than a great massage. Purchased oils can become expensive. This is a recipe to make your own massage oil. Enjoy!

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Ingredients:

    1/2 cup almond oil or olive oil
    1 Tablespoon fresh Lavender

  2. Step 2

    Mix together the oil and lavender in a microwave safe dish. Microwave on high for two minutes. Cool completely.

  3. Step 3

    When cool, pour the oil through a coffee filter to remove solids. Store in a clean bottle. Use and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • You can substitute any herb for the lavender. Some good suggestions include: rosemary - stimulating; mint - energizing; chamomile - relaxing.
  • Give a bottle of your homemade massage oil as a gift. The recipient will be most grateful!
  • Keep the oil in a sealed container out of reach of children.
