Learn how to touch up paint chips on enamel painted appliances. Since enamel paint is used on automobiles as well as appliances, you may use automotive touch up paint on appliances as well. It is easy to use, heat resistant and inexpensive.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    1. Match appliance color by bringing a removable part from the appliance or take a good picture of the appliance and take it to an auto parts store near you.

  2. Step 2

    Find the bottle of brush on touch up paint that matches your appliance best.

    Get a bottle of touch up primer. Use gray for light colors.

    If you can't find a color that is close, a store that mixes auto paint can probably custom mix a pint of paint, which you can apply with a fine touch up brush.

  3. Step 3

    Clean the chipped area with the rubbing alcohol. Let dry completely

  4. Step 4

    Apply the touch up primer according to the directions on the bottle. Let dry completely

  5. Step 5

    Apply the touch up paint according to the directions on the bottle. Let dry completely. This should do it!
