How to Make a Banana Split Pie
Banana split pie is light, sweet and easy to make. It does not need to be baked, so it's ideal for spring and summer events. There are far more complicated ways to make such a pie, put this simple version should turn out like a banana split minus the ice cream. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup drained crushed pineapple
- 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
- 2 medium bananas, sliced
- 8 oz. frozen whipped topping
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 9-inch graham cracker crust

Beat the cream cheese, butter and powdered sugar together until it is light and fluffy. This should take about 10 minutes.

Pour the mix into the graham cracker pie crust and spread it out evenly.

Cover the mix with the pineapple, followed by the strawberries and the bananas.

Cover the fruit with whipped topping and sprinkle it with walnuts.

Chill the pie in the refrigerator before serving it.

Tips & Warnings
Put some lemon juice on the bananas so they won't turn brown as quickly.
It's addictive, and easy....

Wow! This sure looks good. I'm quite fond of bananas and this looks like a refreshing and "light" treat for the summer. Yum!
