One of the drawbacks in using Super Glue is its ability to immediately bind to anything. Difficulty can occur in the removing of Super Glue, but with proper attention it can be done. Unfortunately, the fabric of the denim can be the deciding factor in whether or not the glue can be removed.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Check to see what fabric the denim is made out of. This can be done by looking at the label inside the denim.

  2. Step 2

If the denim is made out of cotton, nail polish remover can be used. Nail polish remover will not work on fabrics made out of polyester, for a stain will be left.

  3. Step 3

Lightly dab the Super Glue spot with nail polish remover. Be sure not to soak the denim in it.

  4. Step 4

Rinse the same spot with soap and water to remove the nail polish remover residue.

  5. Step 5

If you are unsure of the fabric of the denim, you can always try removing the Super Glue with dry cleaning fluid.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not soak the denim in nail polish remover
  • Keep all chemicals out of reach of children
  • Find out the fabric of the denim before using nail polish remover
