Beef or Chicken Stroganoff are great. Either one you will make the same way and it tastes great.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Chicken or Beef, garlic, white sauce, tomato sauce, salt, one large yellow onion, one fresh tomato, one small green pepper, one chicken or beef bouillon cube.
  1. Step 1

You have 2 options when making stroganoff, chicken or beef. They are both very good and go great with rice or noodles. If beef, buy a roast with the least fat, clean it removing all fat and cut it up into cubes. This is the best way to make sure you have one type of good meat. If you buy the trays already cut up you'll get all sorts of mystery meats and this is bad because each cut of meat cooks a different way. If you are making it with chicken buy the chicken breast, clean and cut into cubes.
You want to make sure you cook everything evenly and it all tastes the same. "Good"
So cut the pieces as evenly as possible. Dice a big yellow onion, one big tomato, one small green pepper (if you like it). Keep it all separate at first.

  2. Step 2

The tomato you don't need to dice. Here is a hint great for you; the tomato is the greatest meat tenderizer there is. You should use a fresh tomato. Remove the skin and throw it in as soon that you notice the meat is almost cooked all the way. The tomato will disintegrate and the juice will not only tenderize the meat but keep it juicy.

  3. Step 3

Put in 5-6 tablespoon of olive oil and garlic (as much as you want) in a large pot with the heat turned high.
Throw in the meat as soon as you notice the pot is hot and the garlic is sizzling. You will notice the meat will release its juices so let it cook till almost all of it is evaporated. This will indicate that it is almost 100% cooked. The rest will cook while you finish.
Throw in your tomato. As soon as the tomato liquefies throw in the onion and green pepper.
Now you want to put in a teaspoon of salt (or as much as you want) and a beef bouillon cube (or chicken depending what meat you are using) and let it cook till the water from the vegetables has gone down. Now add half a can of tomato sauce and half a can of white sauce (any of your choice but don’t put anything with spice or seasoned as it will change the taste of your recipe).
As soon as the whole thing comes to a boil turn off the heat and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • Serve over rice or noodles.
  • This is a dream come true! Try it.
  • Use a large pot so you can mix everything up easily with a wooden spoon
  • Don't ever leave a pot unattended while cooking.
