Stop your dog from biting anyone with this simple trick!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Finger.
  1. Step 1

Anytime your dog or puppy tries to bite you, use you thumb to push down his tounge.

  2. Step 2

At the same time, wrap your fingers around the lower part of his jaw.

  3. Step 3

What you are doing, in lowering the front part of his tounge the back part will curl up a bit slightly blocking his airway. This won't be uncomfortable for him and so he will learn very quickly not to do it.

  4. Step 4

While you hold his tounge down, speak in a stern voice - say "NO Biting" or "Stop That"

Tips & Warnings
  • Always use your voice to show approval and disapproval. Dogs are very emotional, so don't yell.
  • When he just licks you, patt him and say sweetly, "good dog" and soon enough he won't be biting anyone.
  • Best do to this when your dog is still a puppy so you risk getting bitten to hard!
