Step 1
Log onto baliguide.com to learn about marriage requirements for Bali. Both partners getting married must be of the same religion to get married in Bali.

Ensure you marriage is registered with the Civil Registry. This is the only way your marriage will be legal in Bali.

You will need to apply for the issue of the "Letter of No Impediment to Marriage" by your Consular Representative. Both you and your fiance will need to your Passports valid for more than 6 months and Certified Divorce Decrees and/or Death Certificates regarding the termination of all previous marriages.

Get four 4 x 6 photos taken of you and your fiance side by side to present to the Consular Representative.

Present both your birth certificates.

Find two witnesses over the age of eighteen to help you for the ceremony. If you do not have someone there in Bali to help, your hotel should have someone to assist you.

Consult with a professional wedding coordinator to find a perfect location for your wedding. Using a local will help you find the best hotels for you and your guests to stay in. If you use someone who has not planned a wedding in Bali before, you could risk paying too much or even worse, confused communications leading to disaster happening.
