How to Use Templates in Yahoo Site Builder
In the modern day and age of the internet, there are several companies that make great website builder software that is entirely free of charge. Many of these companies, like Yahoo.com, offer this free software as a way to encourage more users to buy their domain names and use their web hosting plans. Yahoo’s website builder program is free to all (see resources for free download) and offers hundreds of premade templates that you can use. All you have to do is add the pictures and the text you want and upload them to your website.

How to Use Templates in Yahoo Site Builder

Open the application. You will need to double left-click on the application icon to open up the program.

Click on the “File” tab and select “New Site”. Left-click on the “File” tab in the upper left-hand corner of the command bar; a drop-down menu will open; select “New Site”.

Use the Template Wizard to select desired template. When the Template Wizard opens, select “Yes” to use it. Scroll through the templates and select the desired template; you can also search by category.

Edit the template as desired. Each template will have a set of created pages as well as a navigation bar. Simply double-click on any of the text boxes in the pages and add your own text. You can drag-and-drop text to where you would like it appear on the page. You can also delete, resize, or add images that you desire anywhere on the pages.

Tips & Warnings
You can also download extra templates from the Yahoo server; simply click on the “Templates” button in the command bar.
Make sure that you delete any extra pages that you do not want.
