It is not difficult to use a CD copier such as Roxio Disc Copier. You do not need to drag and drop files, and by using this software, you only need one drive, not dual drives. With these simple steps you can complete disc copying in no time.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Roxio EZ CD and DVD Creator
  • Computer
  • Disc

    Roxio Disc Copier Screen

Double-click on the "Roxio Disc Copier" icon found on your computer. Wait for the copier screen to open. A photo of that screen is found in this article.

  2. Step 2

Insert the "original source disc" that you would like to copy. If you would like more than one copy, click "options" on the bottom of the screen and select the number of copies you would like with the arrow. If you only want one, you can skip the "options" menu.

  3. Step 3

Click the "burn" button on the bottom to start the process. The original CD will be in placed in the temporary memory. This may take about 10 minutes. The CD will automatically eject when finished.

  4. Step 4

Place the blank CD-R or CD-RW in the tray when prompted by Roxio. The CD will automatically eject. This will place the information on the blank CD that was on your original source CD.

  5. Step 5

Close out of Roxio by clicking the "x" in the right corner to exit. Or, if you would like to copy another CD, repeat these steps.

Tips & Warnings
  • These tips can work for a variety of Roxio versions.
  • Make sure the CD is blank and not corrupted or you will not be able to make copies of it.
