Drifting is an amazing song. It's not that hard to learn if you are dedicated and sit down for about half an hour a day to learn it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • A Guitar

Step1
Start by developing callouses on your right hand fingers. Press your pointer and index fingers on the strings and hold them there for 20-30 seconds. It should hurt.
Step2
Turn your guitar to the tuning that Andy McKee uses. I believe Drifting is Drop both E's to D's and move the G string up half a step. If that's not correct, look online to find the proper tuning.
Step3
Watch Andy to find the right beat, and take a good look at some tabs to find the correct positions. Practice this song about twenty minutes a day and you should have it within a week. It's really not as hard as you would think.
