If you are striving to become more versatile in basketball add the windmill layup to your arsenal. This layup is definitely hard to stop and will definitely help improve your game.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The best way to master the windmill layup is practice, practice, practice. You should practice this move until it feels like second nature performing this move. When you first start practicing this move it may be difficult at first. Dont worry you will eventually get it.

  2. Step 2

A good way to practice is to stand under the goal and practice doing the layup standing still. If you really want to master this move, then you should practice the windmill layup with each hand. I suggest you continue practicing under the goal until you can make about 75% of your windmill lay ups.

  3. Step 3

Now you can practice dribbling towards the goal now that you have become proficient with making 75% of your lay ups under the goal. Try to practice making it with both hands. It will be more challenging now that you have added rushing to the goal and dribbling into the equation. Keep on practicing and pretty soon it will be second nature to you.
