How to find trees with fairies

Not all trees are good for fairies. They need different things of a tree to survive! This is sort of a guide for fairy trees.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • book of tree (or look on Internet)
  • Patience
  1. Step 1

    Apple and Beech trees
    The bark or fruit can be used as fairy magic. The apples make excellent gifts for the fairies. The Beech is a symbol of potency, thanksgiving, and was used with divination.

    Ash and Blackthorn
    Ash trees are believed to give protection for the more naughty fairies. They can't use their magic in the shadow of this tree. Blackthorn trees are carefully secured by fairies, who believe to be sacred.

  3. Step 3

    Elder and Hawthorn
    They believe that Elder trees will guard them from any person who wish them no good. Fairies make wine out of its berries. All thorny trees are special meeting places for fairies.

    Holly, Lilac, and Nut trees
    Holly berries are especially favored by fairies. The scent of Lilac trees attract fairies to this tree. Most variety of nut trees provide shelters for tree nymphs.

  5. Step 5

    Oak and Rowan
    The oak is a sacred place for fairies. They even have their own special fairy, its called a dryad or oak tree nymph. They say if a Rowan grows in their garden, you and your family are blessed by fairies.

  6. Step 6

    Willow
    The noise of the wind in the willows is told to be of a fairy whispering. Legend says of a beautiful fairy named Heliconia, who lives on the willows.

  • Use your tree guide to identify the trees.
  • Whatever you find, record in a special journal.
  • Print out this article so you can take it with you while searching for fairies by trees.

on 6/25/2009 I have an apple tree.It's in my backyard full of growing plants of fruits and veggies.I can't see the fairies.Is that no good,or a yes good?
