Things You'll Need:
- Dollar Store
- Discount store
- Thrift store
- garage sales
- Office Supply store
-
Step 1
Visit your local Dollar Store. They carry many items that can be used in a scrapbook such as stickers, acid-free papers, glitter, glue, colored paperclips, etc. Of course, each item is only $1.00.
-
Step 2
Try a local thrift store. They usually have office supplies and paper items which are very low cost. Think outside the box and buy some old books to cut images out of, paperdolls, and greeting cards. They often have previously opened and only partially used bottles of glue, glitter and paint.
-
Step 3
Repurpose items that you already have at home. For example, fabrics and felt can be cut into shapes and used on the background of your page. If it is a zoo themed page, why not cut out felt animals for the background? Or use rick-rack or bias tape instead of expensive ribbons to decorate your pages.
