Instructions

  1. How to Use Peppermint to Cure Insomnia

    • 1
All of the dried herbs should easily fit into a tea ball or infuser like this one.

Place all the dried herbs in the tea ball. If you are using fresh herbs, you will need 1/4 cup instead of 1/4 teaspoon.

    • 2

Boil 4 cups of water. You can heat the water in a pot on the stove or use a microwave safe bowl.

    • 3

Steep the herbs in the tea ball for 20 minutes. This will create a strong herbal peppermint tea.

    • 4

Store the tea in the refrigerator until you are ready for a cup. You can drink as many as 4 cups of this tea each day. As you continue to drink the tea, your insomnia symptoms will fade.

    • 5
The act of drinking the tea will sooth you as much as the tea itself.

Pour yourself a cup of the tea. If it is not hot, reheat it in the microwave.

    • 6

Inhale the peppermint aroma of the tea as you sip it. Peppermint is good for the respiratory system and also helps you clear and calm your mind.

    • 7

Focus on enjoying the tea. Try to keep your mind on the way that the warm tea feels sliding down your throat. Notice as your muscles relax and you begin to become tired instead of weary and sleep-deprived.
