Shower ~ The shower is the best place to condition your facial hair. It's a controlled environment for an otherwise messy project. Be sure to wash your beard thoroughly with a gentle shampoo or cleanser and to rinse the cleanser completely when finished.
-
2
Apply Conditioner ~ Apply enough conditioner to lightly cover all hair in desired area. Be sure to avoid getting conditioner in your mouth or eyes. Never apply hair conditioner to eyebrows.

-
3
Wait ~ Allow conditioner to set for 3 minutes. Note that the change to your beard's texture may not be immediately apparent.
-
4
Rinse ~ Thoroughly rinse your facial hair to prevent acne. Again, keep eyes and mouth shut to prevent exposure to conditioning agent.
-
5
Repeat ~ Repeat as necessary. It may take several repetitions for extremely stiff or scratchy beards.
