How to Bake Brownies on a Waffle Iron

Turning on the oven in the summer just heats up the house, but when you have the urge for fresh brownies, you can bake them in the waffle iron.

Things You'll Need

• Brownie mix or brownie batter
• Waffle iron

Instructions

1. Heat the waffle iron. Oil if it doesn't have a non-stick coating.

2. Mix up the brownies according to the recipe or package instructions.

3. Drop the batter onto the waffle iron in each square. How much you put on each square depends on the size of the waffle iron.

4. Close the lid and cook for several minutes until done.

5. Remove from waffle iron and sprinkle with powdered sugar, if you like.

Tips & Warnings

• You may need to experiment a few times to get the amount of batter right.

• The waffle iron will be hot. Be careful.
