Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 bag of cotton balls
  • 1 bottle color nail polish
  • 1 bottle clear nail polish

Polish Your Toe Nails at Home

  1. Step 1

Place the cotton balls between your toe nails to keep them separated so that you can easily polish your toe nails at home. This will keep the polish from coming off on your skin.

  2. Step 2

Dip the brush of the color nail polish in to the bottle. Wipe off the excess nail polish off one side of the nail brush before you attempt to polish your toe nails.

  3. Step 3

Brush the polish down the center of your toe nail. Use the polish that is left on the brush to cover any exposed toe nail on either side of the center line.

  4. Step 4

Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the rest of your toe nails to polish them with the color nail polish. Allow your toe nails to dry completely.

  5. Step 5

Using the clear polish repeat steps 2 to 4 with all your toe nails to seal in the color. This will keep your polished toe nails from chipping.

  6. Step 6

Allow your polished toe nails to dry completely before removing the cotton balls and putting shoes back on.

Tips & Warnings
  • Experiment with color nail polish that you would not normally use on your toe nails. It is a great way to test run a color before your you use it on your finger nails.
  • Make sure your toe nails are clean of all polish before you attempt to polish them. Any remaining polish on your toe nails will make the new polish peel and chip faster.
