3. Don't try anything new. While it may be tempting to try out a new hair color or style, you won't look your best if your hair turns out bright orange or a frizzy mess. Stick with your regular style and color, and you'll look and feel your best. Save the radical changes for after the honeymoon.

4. Use professionals you trust. While it may be tempting to forgo your regular stylist and his $100+ fee for Aunt Sue's free do, you might regret it later. Confirm your hairstylist, make-up artist and other primping professionals early on to ensure you look your prettiest and best.
