Legs are often underestimated. Legs help people walk to-and-fro and they carry people's body weight. What would people do without legs? Imagine drawn characters without legs.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Drawing Pencil
  • Pencil eraser
  • Small tortillion
  • Drawing paper

    Drawing Legs

  1. Step 1

Draw a base from which your legs will stem. This base could just be a block or an underwear-like base.

  2. Step 2

Add two columns to the bottom of your base. Space these columns about half a centimeter apart.

  3. Step 3

Add two half circles to the bottom of your columns. These half circles are your knees.

  4. Step 4

Add two columns to the bottom portion of your half circles. These columns should start out wide, get wider toward the center, and taper at the end.

  5. Step 5

Trace over your lines. Erase your guidelines. Indicate where your knees are.

  6. Step 6

Shade however you like and add adornments if you wish.
