Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Barometer
- Barometer gauge
- Pencil or pen
Step1
Give the current day a barometric weather title. This means that you have to decide whether the day is sunny, rainy, cloudy, partly cloudy, snowy, and so on. Once you’ve given the current day and weather condition a title, you’re ready to begin marking your barometric gauge.
Step2
Take the barometer and the barometer gauge outside and place it on a stable surface. Make sure the barometer needle is close enough to the gauge so that you can accurately tell where on the gauge the needle is pointing.
Step3
Observe where the barometer needle points to or touches the barometer gauge and make a notation or pencil mark at that point.
Step4
Label the mark with the associated weather title. For instance, label it sunny if it’s a sunny day, or cloudy for a cloudy day and so on.
Step5
Repeat the above process for every weather condition. The barometer gauge will not be complete until you’ve done this for every possible weather condition.
