The better your ad on craigslist is the more people you will attract. When you are posting something you want it to sell right away so having a catchy title and description will help you do that. You also need to make sure that the price is right for whatever you are selling.

Figure out the best spot of where your product or service should be listed. You do not want to put a cell phone in household this should go in electronics. You can look around to see where other users have listed their items if you are unsure where the best spot is for your product.

Click on post which in is the right hand corner of the page you will be able to find this once you are in a category. When you are in here it will ask you to sign into your account or you can set up a new account if you want you can remain anonymous. After you have signed in you will then need to pick a category for you post to go into.

Fill out your title make sure that you make it catchy and unique. Type in your price you want to sell your item for and insert your specific location. Now you will need to add your description here this is where you want your item to shine and to stick out from all of the other products that are just like yours. You want people to buy yours instead of someone else's. If you have a camera take pictures, it always helps to get pictures of what you are selling.

After you are done entering all of your information you should click on continue. This screen shows you what your ad will look like. You have the option to edit if you do not like it or maybe there are some spelling and grammar errors that need to be fixed. If you need to edit click on edit at the bottom make your adjustments and hit continue. Once you like what you see hit continue again and you posting should be live on the site in fifteen minutes.

One of the best ways to always know what you are up against is to check out other postings by people whom are selling the same thing. This will give you an idea on how much to sell it for and how your ad needs to look.

Question Ive been trying to post an ad on Craigslist the past 2 days. I get the ad posted and hit continue and it just sits there any suggestions?
