Placing flipper hinges on to a cabinet may seem like a daunting task but is quite simple with a little know-how. This article will show you how to install flipper hingers.

Things You'll Need:

  • Boring Saw
  • Cabinet Doors
  • Flipper Hinges
  • Installation Hardware
  • Screwdriver

    Installing Cabinet Flipper Hinges

  1. Step 1

    Bore hinge cup holes about 1-1/2" from the door top and bottom.

  2. Step 2

    Drill two 8mm and one 35mm holes on the back of the cabinet doors to receive the hinge and its mounting screws.

  3. Step 3

    Lay the door face down on the work surface.

  4. Step 4

    Line up the dowels of the hinge with the holes on the door.

  5. Step 5

    Insert the screws and tighten.

  • If you are new to boring try it out on scrap wood first.
